LONDON, ENGLAND - once-beaten Olympic gold medal winner James DeGale is training hard at the Stonebridge Boxing Club. DeGale returns on November 22nd in Liverpool, as part of the undercard to the Tony Bellew-Nathan Cleverly rematch. DeGale will take on Mexican super middleweight veteran Marco Antonio Periban. He takes a big risk, with the IBF already ordering him to fight their 168-pound champion Carl Froch in a mandatory showdown. DeGale needs to knock this guy out to make a statement. If this goes all 12 i'll consider DeGale the same level fighter as Jleon Love and Badou Jack.
He needs to separate himself from that level with a nice KO. -
