Would Margarito have "kovalev'd" mayweather?

After watching kovalev destroy bhop. I was wondering if margarito would have done the same to floyd? I think margarito would have also beat down floyd but not as well as kovalev. Poll coming.

Floyd has always wanted minimal risk. He has never been about beating the best or most feared guy its just about keeping the O and health first.

margarito can't outbox floyd, he would bully floyd, but with pressure and his size, not with his skills like kova did to hopkins

I truly believed that If Margarito and Mayweather would have fought around the 08/09 time period.

Actually he stopped plenty of people back then. He fought at 130 nine times after winning the title and stopped six of those opponents. And stopped the champ to win the title. That's a 70% KO ratio. Can you use facts to support your argument? Because your opinion is based on bull****.

Mayweather would have fought similar to how he did in Castillo 2/ Maidana 2 and there was nothing Margarito would have been able to do about it, other than stand in the middle of the ring and beg for Mayweather to trade. Then everyone here would cry about how a much smaller man should have stood his ground against an opponent outweighing him by 14-15 pounds
