yes he would have stopped him rather easily. floyd had his hands full with little hatton. it was a good duck in retrospect. floyd turned down 7 million to take 4 million and fight mitchell, then he fought judah after he lost to a bum then a bum. then priced himself out by demanding 20 million dollars to fight hoya, left top rank then accepted 10 million for the hoya fight. floyd knew he didn't have anything for marg. forfeiting coward.

Marg was a lot more controlled than Maidana (which is worse vs Floyd) and a much lighter puncher. JLC was actually formidable. He was fairly well rounded when he was on point. JLC could fight and box. He wasn't so one dimentional at least not marg's scale

yeah but he said he would fight marg if arum gave him a 20 mill guarantee. obviously that was absolute bollocks and he knew it as he happily accepted 10 million guarantee after leaving. he offered floyd career high paydays for all those fights. he offered him a 7 million guarantee to fight hatton before he even fought hoya. floyd only made a 8 million guarantee for hatton after fighting hoya so arum was more than generous with him. why don't you blame floyd for being so greedy and pricing himself out? why did floyd change his 20 million guarantee to 10? kinda weird no? when margarito was out of the picture....CHANGE!
