To be honest, Cunningham lost himself the fight in the final stretch by just grabbing and holding Glazkov. The spoiling tactics left him open to be hit by cleaner shots, which was what the judges saw. Many of the extra punches he threw were pitty patty slaps on the inside.

The judges rewarded quality over quantity. Glazkov indeed landed the cleaner, harder shots. Cunningham was mostly shoe-shining on the inside. I don't see it as a controversial decision at all.
