Kovalev stops Pascal in an 8 round war. Mostly because Kovalev can apply smart pressure early and pick Pascal apart during the initial Pascal 4 round surge early. Then put on some serious pressure after that and draw Pascal into a fire fight and I think Kovalev is too much.

It'd be funny as hell if the WBC did as they did with GGG / Rubio and made the winner of Kovalev vs Pascal Stevensons mando. The ABCs have been talking about unifying the titles and this gives them the ideal opportunity.

Two huge fights, with at least one in Canada - everyone should be happy - fans, promoters, broadcasters. And Stevenson would pretty much have to fight Kovalev (or Pascal) since at 37 he just can't afford to drop that belt.

It is a tough one isn't it? On one end you can meet a compatriot and set yet another record for the biggest fight in Canadian boxing history against Stevenson OR try to win 3 titles all at once.

I'd say stick to Stevenson, because winning that gets Pascal Lineal plus WBC and be part of history as the biggest fight in Canada. Also it further improves his negotiation position when they go for Kovalev.
