How can duva say it's not a priority , who else is he gonna fight that brings money and makes sense .. They beat up a man a half century old and already acting like divas .. This is the only fight they should focus on making, it's the only priority, there's nothing else.. Unless ward moves up and fights kovalev which won't happen ..

Smh... Here come the excuses... Fact is, Hopkins was the the third best LHW at the time. I know Dawson beat him, and Stevenson beat Dawson - but Dawson is irrelevant now - officially - after losing to a bonafide journeyman.

Koavlev did something to Hopkins that has LITERALLY nevre been done to him before... He out-smarted, and out-boxed him. Literally one every single round, and put him on his arse once, by anticipating Hopkins patented lead right hand, and step-back counter-punching him.

Give him full credit, and recognize he deserves to be ranked above Stevenson as the only "partially unified" LHW champion.

What is Kovalev supposed to do? Wait around and beg for them to fight him? They already waited and had an agreement set out for the fight, but guess who backed out like they had the fear of god in their heart? Yup... So now Kovalev calls the shots, and if Stevenson wants it, he can get it. Otherwise, keep that fooking piece of **** human coward duck out of his sight.

Hahahaha He says this now bcuz Kovalev is getting all the love. Its so funny bcuz it backfired on him BIG TIME!! Lol His promoter 'Meeshel' said they were "pursuing" a unification with Bernar and a kovalev fight down the road (possibly 2-3 yrs) would be "for all the belts", his team postured themselves hoping Bhop wud get the IBF stripped but Bhop wasnt having that..the rest is history! Lol the result is the complete opposite of how Adonis viewed it-with Kovalev having 3 straps getn all the love and hes the odd man out getn trashed lol.

They wasted their time the first time so they're not too keen on entering new nogetiations now! Very understandable! why should Duva waste money pushing for a fight with Stevenson when they already did that and Stevenson ran away?
