Agreed. Mayweather needs to do his part as well but all he's been saying is that he doesn't want to fight Pacquiao. These two need to fight each other before they both retire.Comment

You're right, it's not 2010 anymore. But prior to 2010 and 2009 Pac was screaming he wanted Mayweather, then turned down two offers. I guess he wasn't serious when he said he wanted the fight for the fans, or that he'll fight for free. But why would he fight Floyd when he's making millions fighting the likes of Rios, Algeri, and possibly Jessie Vargas? And you guys say Al Haymon gets soft touches for his fighters....Comment

Its the biggest fight in Boxing to be made. 100's of millions of dollars. Hes gonna let an old man stop that? Money May? lol Of course Manny fights for Money. Stick to the topic. China has nothing to do with it. Manny will fight Floyd for free. Floyd knows that! Hes been told that. Take the biggest fight in Boxing history and give it to charity of ones choice. lets make the fans happy! Floyd fights for the fans. lol yeah right.Comment

I honestly believe Pac did want the fight once upon a time, but he didn't force the fight. As easy as it is to hate Mayweather because of his past antics, Floyd swallowed his pride in negotiations and bent big time. Floyd was adamant about not giving a 50/50 split, but he did so. He also agreed to Pac's demands of ring size, glove size, and weight penalty. He even came off of his stance of he and Pac having to do OSDT all the way up to the day of the fight. But Pac walked. The second time around Mayweather swallowed his pride again and personally called Pac to make him an offer. Pac didn't try to negotiate or even say we'll talk after I consult with my people. Pac simply said he wanted 50/50 and hung up. And then Pac continues to tell the world that he'll take less and even fight for free, but when it's time to negotiate it's a different story.
Why do you think Mayweather is now saying he doesn't want to fight with him. I don't think it's that he doesn't want to fight him, I think he just doesn't want to do business with him. And I think if any of us would have dealt with that same situation when we are the "A" side we'd feel the same way.Comment
