Im not sure about Cotto. Its true about his elite fighter rumor. Doesn't look good on paper. maybe its a slow progression back up with Roach in team Cotto.
Beating a wounded Sergeio didnt impress me. I know he did his job and what he was supposed to do, but realistically he beat a broken man. Didnt break down the man like hes been known to do. Honestly the fight with canelo will IMO tell a lot or leave us still in question.
If he beats Canelo Was Canelo all that or All hype? Still lingers. I think it would be a great fight though. Canelo hand speed will bother Cotto. Cotto will have to be the one who lands more of the clean and effective punches. Id go with canelo having more of the power. Cotto more of the experienced fighter vs the young strong faster fighter. I think its a good balance. A coming up learning step up fight for Canelo and a fight for Cotto who has showed decline to balance out the fight.

the fight i'd like to see is pimp steven vs kovelpoop winner against prince ward at 175. that's a once in a generation type of fight, especially if ward can get in a UD to bust off the ring rust first.

To make things more interesting you should have said besides Floyd/Manny, that is the obvious choice. Like others have said the whole world would stop for that fight if it were to finally happen.

Next biggest is Canelo/Cotto. Looks like we have a good chance of seeing that within the next year.

After that it's hard to say because the other guys aren't really huge PPV stars. For us boxing diehards I think seeing any of these would be great. The next best seller though would be GGG/Canelo.

I want to see Ward get a real test (been a while since Froch) and GGG get a real test too, Kovalev just got his and proved himself.

No, not at all...alot of people have recently stated dis-interest in the fight and seem more excited about others as it shows in the poll...as its majority not unanimous.
