It’s no secret that Miguel Cotto likely will have a pay-per-view extravaganza with Canelo Alvarez in 2015 rather than defending his lineal 160-pound championship against power-punching middleweight titleholder Gennady Golovkin.

Golovkin’s team only thinks GGG would get a bout at the victor if a certain one of those fighters triumphs.

I like GGG n he hits like a tank, but his defensive skills have yet to be tested. Everyone thats fought him fears the power 1st. Canelos defensive could use some work to, but he can take shots very well. He wouldnt be afraid to trade. Canelos a very accurate puncher n he's got sum pop too. He can hurt him n possibly KO em. Cotto is quick n slick inside of 5rds. He'll hit n bust up his face with counter punches but he can't take a punch like he used to. May the best man win but 1st Canelo vs. Cotto yeah!!!

Looking at Cottos resume shows only how much of a warrior Cotto is. Canelo is a real man yet his resume contains a bunch of fighters cotto had beaten 5 years or so before canelo did. You dont know **** about boxing. Cottos middleweight title is the same title Golovkin wanted to fight for. Had Golovkin been the one to dethrone Martinez, would that title still be a joke?
