If they rematch, things will be different. Brook will be introduced as the current defending IBF World WW champion, and Porter as the challenging former champion. That's about it.

I don't know about this. Porter is going to have to get a lot better. I thought Brook outclassed him and was never in trouble at all in the fight.

BS - His arrogant father should not have invited Brook's team over to their gym to watch his son spar - how arrogant and ****** is that? just sparring my arse, you get to look at footwork, technique, reflexes, physique - basically size him up !
Lol i agree!! "This is how were gonna fight you" hahaha

I wouldn't mind seeing the rematch, I'm all for an ex champion trying to get his get backs against a fighter that beat him. Agbeko got his get backs against Perez, I still think Brook would win in a rematch though, I still would watch it.

Kell would school him even worse, probably KO him in my opinion.

Kell started out very tense, and a bit nervous in the first couple of rounds, even though he hurt Porter and staggered him late in the first round.

If a rematch was to happen, in Sheffield, I feel Brook would do a better job on him. Porter simply doesn't have the physical gifts to combat a big strong WW like Brook very good.

But saying that you still have to wonder how the fight would have turned out if the referee would have penalized him for some of the excessive holding. I love how Al Bernstein never mentioned the holding that Brook did (and he did a lot of it) but two weeks later in the Mayweather Maidana II fight he complained about every clinch that Mayweather engaged in which wasn't even half the amount of clinches that Kell Brook committed. But then again they blamed Mayweather for the fact that Maidana bit his hand. So maybe I shouldn't even be making the comparison.
Should Porter then have been disqualified for hitting behind the head 30 times and giving 2 headbutts that caused both of them to cut?

Only way the rematch is different is if there is no random-blood testing...

He really was nervous. When he came out i feared for him, he looked like a rabbit in the headlights. But after the second round he was pretty much cruising. I think he anticipated a much harder fight, so i think you could be right in your prediction of a possible KO, now he knows what he's dealing with he could just execute his gameplan even better and pick him off and finish him off late on.

Porter had his chance and was predictably outclassed. He was ineffective against a much more skilful and composed Brook. I'm sure he'll learn and make adjustments but he's got a lot of ground to make up before he'd be competitive against Brook.
