Al Haymon makes me throw up! The guy has stopped some serious fights from happening. His stable is being punished for signing with him! This is not what boxing is about! If you have a belt defend it! If you are the best fight the best. Quillen,Wilder,Mayweather,Stevenson, allvhave this in common they've all been screwed over by the boxing advisor/criminal!

So you ignore that Adonis became the champ by beating the best in his division? Or that he hasn't fought anyone until this guy coming up outside of the Top 10?

Kovalev should fight Pascal. Beating him would ruin the plan for a Stevenson-Pascal fight, and put more pressure on Stevenson to fight him. It would also get Stevenson's attention by beating his friend and stablemate.

Then he should fight Fonfara. If he stops Fonfara, he'll have beaten him more impressively than Stevenson did, and make him look bad for struggling as much as he did.

Hopkins had to sign a fight in 48 hours, as IBF wanted to strip him on a precise date... Adonis didn't sign, so Hopkins asked Kovalev -- who signed in 36 hours.

It's not as simple as that. Showtime changed Hopkins' guaranteed amount, while Stevenson's team stalled on negotiations (which had been going on for weeks). This was all while the clock was ticking for Hopkins to either face his mandatory (Mohammedi, which neither HBO nor Showtime wanted to buy), or fight for a belt. If Hopkins would have waited too long, he would have been stripped. Then Haymon's fighter, Thomas Wiliams, Jr, if he had beaten Campillo (which he didn't anyway), would eventually fight Mohammedi for the vacant belt. This in turn, would have set up a showdown with Stevenson, which would have put two LHW belts in Haymon's corner. Hopkins and his team saw through Haymon's scheme weeks before the deadline and burned him by signing the Kovalev fight.

Throw out the wild KO punch on Sad Chad and Stevenson has done almost nothing in boxing and is just a felon ex-con prisoner ex pimp convicted for kidnapping and abusing woman than the Haitain is a boxer. Kovalev destroys Stevie and the Haitain knows this. Hop can beat Adonis though so look for that fight.
