Remember, Kovalev had trouble with Boone too. He never got dropped by Boone I don't think. But he got Dropped by Capparello. I think Ward has made Adjustments to his game to the point where he doesn't allow himself to make the same mistake he made against boone. I think Ward is a much different fighter since the Boone fight. You know that Ward would be the betting favorite.

So you think everyone but Floyd will eventually lose.

Idk, the hopkins fight showed me that Kovalev is more than just a power puncher, he has very good discipline, Very good timing and a very underated footwork, Inside game and a jab. The only thing that ward can expose is Kovalevs bad balance but i see ward trying to clinch Kovalev after He feels Kovalevs Power and i see the bigger Kovalev out wrestling him and throw right hooks ala hopkins fight. or he can counter wards jabs.

Good point but wresting with ward would only serve one purpose ,to drain energy from him while losing some of his in the process which would then hinder to utilize his reach and controll distance...50/50 fight i think...

According to some posters here, Boone did actually drop Kovalev in their first fight.

Ward doesnt even come close in punching power to boone, Kovalev was dropped by capparello but it was due to bad balance, ward was dropped by boone too

He could I believe, but it'll be a tough one for sure, Ward would have to have a perfect gameplan and execute it all 12 rounds. Kovalev has very good boxing skills along with his power and he'll have the size advantage as well.

Ward hasn't lost since he was 12 years old. I give the Raiders a better chance of winning a game this year than I do at giving any fighter a chance at beating Andre Ward.
