    Kovalev schooled Hopkins with it. I believe he employed it to trap Hopkins in the corner for the crisp knockdown.

      yeah kovalev and ggg do it a lot. It's a very efficient way to close gap on someone and throw hard shots but is also risky.

      Kovalev and GGG command so much respect with their power that when they throw punches most fighters are covering up or ducking and weaving so they can get away with it most often than not. I mean I haven't seen them get hit hard while shifting.

      In the west you'd get yelled at by your coach for doing that.
