Who will Kovalev fight next....Jean Pascal?

We all want to see Kovalev vs Stevenson but I have a feeling that fight won't happen anytime soon....so who's next up for the Krusher?

After Jean Pascal beats Don George next month, I would love to see Jean Pascal take on Kovalev next. I'm sure Jean Pascal would take that fight.

    EDIT: Pascal wants this fight...

after Dec 6th, the Kingpin of the division @KrusherKovalev should face the cashcow of the lightheavyweight division. Would be a great fight

They were talking about that fight in the media here in Montreal. Jean Pascal wants that fight so I think it could happen. Sad for Stevenson. But who knows maybe Pascal vs Stevenson could happen next too.

Stevenson said he'll fight Kovalev, but will Al Haymon allow him to?

Pascal, Braehmer or Fonfara would be okay.

Some former champion like Chad Dawson or a former beltholder like Beibut Shumonov or Tavoris Cloud would be okay as a stay-busy fight.

I'd love to see Froch or Ward move up and fight Kovalev. Like Hopkins said, the 168 division never existed throughout boxing history and it's a place where light hevyweights hide from the best opponents.

There's about ten very talented up-and-comers like Alvarez, Mekhontsev, Shabranskyy and Beterbiev but I think they'll want a few more fights first.

After pascal wins, Adonis will stall any negotiations, so then, pascal will go fight kov and get hurt. Then Stevenson will retire.

Jean Pascal is Stevenson's mandatory. The fight will happen in Spring 2015. It is massive in Canada.

It will be, ill be sure to make the drive to Montreal, if it happens. Doubt it though. Adonis is getting well paid to fight c class guys.

I'm hoping that after becoming a super star, Kovalev doesn't become a 2 fight a year fighter. I think Fonfara would be a good opponent for him
