Being able to score from the outside changed everything. It made the fight, as much as it could be, easy from a tactical point of view. It was all on Hopkins then, he had to go looking for Kovalev and push him back.

Sergey being able to counter bernards jab is what did it, it was so effective it droped him in the first and later hurt him in the 8th I believe.
