GGG had one, same thing with Matthysse.

Are you a fan of a fighter who was chased out of LWW, but you pretend it never happened? Dropped and spanked years ago, but you haven't recovered? Took decades to win a belt, but has to wait for Amir to fight on his terms? You're more than welcome to post your saltiness in this thread.
What has Amir Khan done to deserve a Master Thread on this site? Beating a former world champion and talking s....t about Mayweather on a daily basis should not be enough to get you your own Master Thread

I think Khan is a B-level fighter, at best.

              • Khan should fight Brook, its the fight which makes the most sense, something tells me Floyd will not be retired this time next year anyway. Khan-Brook at Wembley is huge, and Khan will do a number on him in my opinion, plus the attendance and ppv numbers will make serious waves and further justify Khan as a draw and build more momentum for a big US fight. Plus he will have one of the major straps, there is literally no downside, I hope someone can convince him that this is the right step, I think that person is Virgil Hunter, a combination of him and Oscar. Khan surely can't leave this much money on the table, this is a £5 million pay day on a bad day, I expect it to be closer to £10 million when all is said and done.

This is the right move for his career, but he is been so outspoken about not fighting Brook, I am not sure if he can even go back on his word now, which is a shame. There is always a chance he can lose because Kell has good coordination and punch power, but when you get to this level it is high stakes, and its time for Khan to gamble.

                  • Just watched Khan's fight with Willie Limond, and then immediately watched the Alexander fight, the improvement is absolutely astounding. It obviously happens with every fighter, but it is such a quantum leap with Khan in comparison to most other fighters I have seen come through to world level. Even basic stuff like his stance, posture, and balance are so much better. I remember him being better in those early fights to be honest, but it just goes to show what a job first Roach, and now Hunter have done with him.

You don't really see a fighter go through so much technical improvement through his professional career.

Both are heavily ducked, but it's a drop in the ocean compared to the most avoided fighter in the history of this sport: Amir Khan.
