To me, that is not as big an achievement as Brook going to the US as a Mandatory challenger and taking the title from Porter.

I'm not downplaying or overplaying either. I'm just saying both did go to America to win world titles. Khan has been fighting in America against top opposition since he was what? 21 or 22 years old?

Brook is 28 I believe and has one achievement worth mentioning.

I'd say because Alvarado was not himself that night which is clear as day. This made Rios look like a mix between Tyson and Sweet Pea. Now if Rios could do that against a game Alvarado or a better opponent then yeh I'd give Rios his props.

Not really - He also knocked out Alvarado when he was undefeated

I don't care what the reason was, a guy who's coming off a 3 round destruction of Alvarado is better than a guy who's coming off an embarrassing 12-0 decision vs Khan where he wasn't even the slightest competitive.
