Khan beat Collazo and Alexander at 147lbs. Brook beat the guy who beat Alexander for his IBF title in Porter and has more fights at 147lbs while being a welterweight title holder. Khan may have been in the U.S. longer but he's not as liked in the U.S. as Brook is already.
What did Bradley, Rios, Algieri, Margarito and Mosley do at WW to get a shot at Pacquiao?

Bradley was undefeated and was widely ranked in the top 10 p4p. Rios was a comeback fight after Pacquiao got knocked out. Algieri had the biggest upset of last year and lifted a title from the guy most people had pegged as Manny's next opponent. Margarito didn't fight Manny at welterweight so I don't know why you're listing him. Shane Mosley was one of the best welterweights of the previous decade; you must be pretty ****ing ****** to be listing him as a guy who hasn't done anything at the weight.

I think the Mosley part is with regards to the guy being shot and badly beaten several times already.

I think this is more apparent in hindsight; at the time Manny fought him Mosley had lost to Maywether and drawn with Mora. It wasn't a fight people were super jazzed about but there also wasn't really anyone else people wanted Manny to fight instead apart from Mayweather. At that point he'd cleared out most of the other welterweights.

I think Khan is following Mayweather when he announced on twitter that hes fighting Devon Alexander prior to the if not mistaken the Guerrero fight.

I agree with that and if I remember correctly, it followed another failed Mayweather negotiation but in all honesty, most boxing fans thought the fight was disgusting and along with the Margarito debacle is one of 2 fights I thought Manny should never have had.

He never announced he was fighting Devon.
