From the get go he said that Hopkins was wrong that Serghei wasn;t Pavlik and he articulated it very well. Then he was outlining Serghei strategy and all of the things he was doing great, distance, walking him down, jabs to the body, etc.

And while 12 punches a round is a ****** strategy it's not something that we haven't seen with Bhop in the past so Roy just said what he was doing.

I thought Roy had a great night overall.

However, Max Kellerman was gushing with love for Hopkins every time he threw a punch, making out Kovalev to be seriously hurt when he really wasn't.

The part that made me cringe is when Lampley asked Roy if B-Hop should keep fighting or retire.

Well, Roy wasn't wrong. That was very clearly what Hopkins and most the people who picked Hopkins hoped to happen, that he would take Kovalev late and take advantage when he tired.

Did anyone else catch Roy's comment preflight when he called Bernard " a slick old coon"? I had to watch it twice to make sure that's what I heard. I couldn't believe it and was dying laughing.
Imagine if Lampley or Kellerman said that. They'd be suspended and all over sports center lol.
