Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City - United States Olympian Sadam Ali (21-0, 13KOs) made a statement with a sensational stoppage win of heavily favored Luis Carlos Abregu (36-2, 29KOs) in the ninth round. Ali dominated with his boxing. He dropped Abregu hard in the sixth with a counter and caught him with more shots until the bell.
