Bradley was crazy movement. I think he has somebody the best defensive tactics in the sport. He only really gets hit when getting overly aggressive.
Really Impressed with Bradley's Upper Body Movement

It's damn good relative to others..I guess where it gets him in trouble is that he doesn't always do it to avoid punches, he's just goes into all sort of movement and tries to do a little too much maybe... he's literally moved himself into the line of a punch and got hit for no good reason.
Also, he is giving up the portions of the head that cause one's legs to turn to jelly for extended periods of time. The fact that he's been able to fight through equilibrium shots, knockdowns, and near decapitations really speaks to his level of conditioning.
as far as his countering off his defense..still not that great. The right hand he countered with against JMM was good I thought. If he could be a little more subtle and counter off his defense, he wouldn't lose exchanges like he does.
The defensive puzzle Bradley gave Pac is so much different that the one Algieri is hoping to give Pac. Algieri can move, but mostly in one direction... he can't stop and go wherever he wants on a dime like Tim can.Last edited by LA_2_Vegas; 11-08-2014, 07:19 PM.Comment

First part I highlighted I agree with you 100% - couldn't have said it better myself. Sometimes it looks like he's not moving in anticipation for any punches, or he's being way too overzealous when doing so.
Again - second part I bolded is spot on. Against Provodnikov... man... That's gotta be up there in amount of HUGE, CLEAN shots a boxer has ever taken, and continued to fight - and not just survive, but actually FIGHT back, and win more rounds. Provodnikov kept hitting him right on the side of his head with the left hook - just wiping that joint CLEAN - and then coming back with the straight right hand down the pipe, and landing flush on the point of his chin. That's a fight right there to show a noob to make him a boxing fan for life.
Last bolded part - I mean, he did out-counter the master of combination counter-punching, the "Beethoven of Boxing," Juan Manuel Marquez. I agree, though - he could use some more subtlety, and transition his offensive/defensive posturing more - rather than just being 100% committed to either.Comment

I agree with this. Not only that but he couldnt cope with Pac's speed at all, hence the bad feet in the fights. Sure, he can move that fast but he expends all his energy. Bradley's will and condition are intense though and without them no way he lasts more than a few rounds. If he had better techniquevand footwork he'd be much more dangerous and could Compete with Pac and Floyd. He's just too all over the place, too amped.
Like someone said, he finds whats right snd doesnt take advantage. If he would just slow it down a bit hed be more dangerpus imo and could counter more effectively. He has the tools.Comment

I'd say overly emotional really, he doesn't have that Hopkins, Mayweather, get hit but still stay composed mentality. Bradley can do so much better, it's ashamed really.Comment
