Bob Arum, CEO of Top Rank, told BoxingScene.com that a third clash between Mike Alvarado and Brandon Rios is still on track to happen in ''late January." This bout, that would be broadcast on HBO, will most likely take place on either "January 24th or the 31st."

The plan was to have the rubber match between Rios (32-2-1, 23KOs) and Alvarado (34-3, 23KOs) on December 20th in Denver, Colorado. But with the past legal issues of Alvarado cropping up, the third go-around between the two was pushed back to early 2015.

Top Rematch I mean Top Rank at it again. This is probably going to be on the under card of Pac-Vargas. Rios is a bum I put money Robert Guerrero and Maidana would body him. You and Oscar claim to be working together but we ain't seen one quality fight yet make Rios-Garcia.Give us something new because this is just a pointless fight has no steam both looked like **** in their last fights. Bob Arum is still ONLY allowing his top fighters to fight other Top Rank fighters, he might let some of his more unknown or more disliked fighters fight GoldenBoy fighters and Haymon.

But in general, it's just TOP RANK VS TOP RANK

There are too many good possible fights for these rematches, it's getting sickening.

Top Rank has only failed to make 1 fight with a Haymon fighter, and that's Mayweather.

And the list goes on, just too many good fights for these crap rematches, and people buy into them because both guys are sluggers, slugging or not that crap gets old.
