Less than 24 hours after Adrian Hernandez was confirmed to return to the ring on November 22, the former two-time 108 lb. titlist now has an opponent to go along with the comeback.
Hernandez will face countryman Armando Torres, in a supporting bout to a bantamweight showdown between Julio Ceja and Christian Esquivel.
Hernandez (29-3-1, 18KOs) fights for the first time since his 6th round knockout loss to precocious Naoya Inoue in April. The defeat ended his second tour as a junior flyweight titlist, though the 28-year old is confident that a third reign is in his future.
