      He wasn't just good, Escopeta was the ****ing ****, top 4 great middleweight who wasn't exactly one of the prettiest of boxers, seemed very crude at times, but he got the job done every bout. Absolute monster.

      Don't care about what the man was like outside of the ring at all, inside the ring he was one of the greatest too lace em up and one of the finest ring generals you'll ever see.

          pretty much sums it up. wins over pretty much all of the top mws of his era. unique style of his own, knew how to use his tools extremely well. had a bit of a crazy streak but thats what made him so dangerous inside the ring.

            Monzon always dictated the pace and always finished stronger than his opponent. He was the epitome of a 15 round fighter.
