If he would of had a pro career he would of literally been one of the top 15 fighters, ever.

    No shame in that.
Based on what?? who is he?? what is his name and why would he have been a top 15 ATG with 0 pro fights?

Beterbiev didn't KO Kovalev, beat but not KO. Anyway there is no shame in that either.... Beterbiev is great too and is gonna be a fantastic pro.

Either way... the amateurs are the amateurs

Every fighter has lost at least once in the amateurs.

Agree. I think he is way better than Kovalev and I would pick him to beat Kovalev as well.

Guess who's being knocked out there
This is exactly why Stevenson has a very good chance against Kovalev. That is Adonis's favorite punch and is a southpaw as well (I cannot stand Adonis, but he delivers this punch fast and powerful).
Notice how it took Kovalev a little longer to dispose of Agnew than other guys-not because Agnew was good, but because the s-paw stance creates issues and poor angles for Sergey...in the end, a body jab gave Agnew a reason to quit-and he did quit.

Kovalev and Beterbiev can go down as two of the best LHW's ever. IMO.

LHW is stacked with upcoming talent right now (Beterbiev, Mekhontsev, Alvarez, Gvodzyk, etc)

Kovalev is going to look like an ATG against Hopkins. Once Hopkins feels the power, he's gonna be like, "The hell am I doing in the ring with this alien killer?".

I actually think Beterbiev would be a harder fight for Hopkins than Kovalev. If Hopkins fought with his usually dirty inside semi-clinching style Beterbiev would tear him up on the inside.

With Kovalev's squared up, outfighter style he actually has a chance of throwing him off balance... As long as he doesn't get KO'd.

Aducknis has looked worse as a pro though, has a worse chin and stamina. Both have the style to crack each other, but Kovalev would be the favorite, which is why Aducknis flew home.
