Complete is being able to apply yourself from all ranges, when you don't become a sitting duck when your opponent opts to change his approach.
Exactly. And that's one reason why Kovalev and GGG are complete fighters. They can fight inside or out..... Tell that to the people in this thread who disagree.

      Pacquiao isn't really complete either.

He's boxed Marquez what? 80 times? And he still eats right hands like its going out of fashion.

I don't rate his inside game much either.

        Are you serious right now?

Take a look at who Broner, Golovkin and Kovalev fought in the amateurs and then come back with that question

Marquez is a great fighter. I'm not saying Pac is the GOAT or talking about resumes.

They haven't shown that, and it does matter whether it's against elite opposition or not because we'll only know how well rounded they are once they step up. Golovkin was forced back against Stevens from what I recall, and again, he didn't look good.

Both of them back up in straight lines, Dirk already mentioned this, I don't think I can offer anything else. This thread is just wrong, learn what complete is.

My point is that he fought the same guy repeatedly and never showed the ability to adjust or beat him convincingly. His resultss arguably got increasingly worse

They back up in straight lines because they don't respect their opponents and know they have nothing for them

Go look at video getting hit against Stevens..... It didn't faze him and he didn't "not look good" at all. Newsflash: Fighters who fight like Golovkin are going to get hit. And with that said- he gets hit less then even some defensive boxers.

Golovkin and Kovalev are complete fighters, read my post on the bottom of page 3. If you don't think they're complete fighters then I don't know what to tell you. Your eyes are playing tricks on you.

He got old. Okay. He didn't adjust against ONE fighter, a HOF'er and ATG.

                  Now watch his other fights.

It was your line of reasoning. You'll understand if I'm having a little difficulty tuning in to your wavelength.

So if it's not the number of bouts (as you originally specified, but you can change it up, I'm cool with that) and it's more the level of opponent, then Khan has a win over Kindelan on his resume.

Would that make Amir a complete fighter?

So they're complete fighters but they just fight incomplete because they don't respect their opponents? LOL....what are you even saying?

What other fights? I don't care if it's ONE fighter or ten fighters. If you can't show something different after numerous tries against the same fighter, you're not complete.
