Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Says He Will Be in Top Form For Chisora

Tyson Fury believes his long absence from the ring will serve him well when he finally gets to face Dereck Chisora at London's ExCeL Arena on November 29.

Fury has fought just four low-key rounds in the last 18 months after seeing prospective bouts against both Chisora and David Haye scrapped or postponed due to late-notice injuries to his opponents.

But, far from fearing another disappointment as he enters the final build-up to their British and European heavyweight title showdown, Fury is intent on seeking out positives.

"I have had a lot of back-to-back camps recently and it meant I came into this camp with no weight to lose," he said.

"I usually start off two or three stones over the limit and am killing myself to get the weight off, but for this camp I was actually five pounds under my normal fighting weight.

"This camp has been different and we will see on the night if it pays off but I'm looking forward to getting in there and getting the win that will move me towards some world title fights."
Bet now on Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora!

Fury shrugged off suggestions his previous crushing disappointments could have any negative impact on his career as he looks to close in on the likes of Wladimir Klitschko.

"I'm always focused when it comes to fighting because it is what keeps me alive - it is something I was born to do.

"There is no question of not being focused, whatever happens. If I wasn't training and boxing and going forward to a fight, I don't know what kind of state I'd be in.

"I'd probably be a crazy person in the streets. I certainly wouldn't be someone I'd want to bump into. You have to be a crazy person to fight me when I'm in this sort of mood and Dereck Chisora is definitely a crazy one." [Click Here To Read More]

I hope Fury is on the ball both mentally physically for Chisora, because if he isn't, Del Boy will find him out.

Chisora was in terrible shape the first fight and still gave fury a fair bit of trouble

I think a in shape motivated chisora is gonna be a too much for fury

I hope I'm wrong because I would love to see a wlad fury fight down the line

I guess this clown wasn't in top form for his last scheduled fight -- the one he cancelled because his trainer became sick.

Fury was way out of shape for the first fight too. I read that he was seen drinking in a club at 1am the previous night. No matter what shape Del Boy is in, a fit and focussed Tyson Fury beats him, imo.

If that's true that's pretty crazy haha

Thing is chisora has faced far better comp since the first fight

Gonna be a good fight anyway . Can't wait

Chisora vs Fury is a very even fight.

I tip Fury for a decision but nobody walks through Chisora.

It was his uncle actually, who recently died after a routine operation went wrong. Gypsy families are very close.

chisora has been on a good run but I don't think his chin is as good as it was before haye dented it. hes been hurt in his last couple fights by light hitters. fury isn't exactly granite in the chin department either of course so it should be a good fight. hopefully better than the first but I think fury is just a bit better and should win another ud
