Comments Thread For: Amir Khan Admits: This is a Make or Break Fight For Me!

Amir Khan admits that everything in his career is at stake next month when he battles Devon Alexander on December 13th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The fight will headline a Showtime televised tripleheader.

Former champions “King” Khan (29-3, 19 KOs) and Alexander “The Great” (26-2, 14 KOs) are both hoping to get a shot at WBA/WBC welterweight king Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) in May of next year.

No it isn't. Fighting equal level opposition is all anyone can ask. Win or lose, Amir gets respect. When its a breaker is when guys like Mayweather fight inferior opposition, like Amir Khan victim Marcos Maidana, and lose the way Mayweather did in the first fight.

Finally the lad makes some sense. He has to win big in order to secure a fight. That is what the Mayweathers have been waiting on him all along to get that UK money.

He cannot wobble to victory like he has done against Maidana and Diaz. He has to do a Collazo performance

            Three thoughts ...

            1. Devon isn't pivotal to anybody’s career.
            2. Why apply unnecessary pressure to an already challenging situation?
            3. Train. Fight. Shut the fhuk up.

I cringe when I hear/read Khan interviewed. He shouldn't be allowed to touch social media... or speak... ever.

You can't say this he's a boxing superstar and he's going to fight and beat Mayweather and go down in history as one of boxing's greats .I've tried but I feel like fool for trying, this guy is just an idiot and so irritating....Good post!
