After suffering a few crushing setbacks, former champion Victor Ortiz (29-5, 22KOs) is not lacking in the confidence department. Ortiz returns to the ring on December 13th, for the first time since the knockout loss to Luis Collazo in January. The fight will be showed by Showtime Extreme from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Ortiz's opponent is still undermined.

After the loss to Collazo, most people felt Ortiz was finished after suffering his third consecutive knockout defeat. Ortiz says he is far from finished and still intends to walk away from the sport with a Hall of Fame career.

This is my favorite fighter right now and was happy he became a world champion, but i think its gonna take alot of hardwork to get back to the top and with his acting career on the rise im not sure he could get there again..plus his jaw, and other things.
