    Ike Quartey vs. Ricardo Mayorga

I'd like to see this fight happen soon to see if Ike has what it takes to fight at a high level again. Would this be a good fight for Ike as a comeback & could he win this fight or not?

The guys has had 3 fights in last 6 years and has gone 1 - 2 in them. I think he needs a few more tune up fights, even thought I still believe that mayorga is a second class fighter with little skills but is just very entertaining and fun to watch.

Ike has fought so very little he would need at least 5 fights just to see what he has left. He can't possibly fight Mayorga now and hope to win. He's beens gone too long

the old ike would give mayorga a boxing lesson, which i'd love to see. ike needs a couple of tuneups before he'll be ready for mayorga, but i don't think it'll be all that tough for him. mayorga will brawl and stick out his chin like he always does, ike has the better skills, but ring rust will give mayorga chances. i'd like to see ike beat at least two contenders / B level fighters before he takes on the nicaraguan

Ike was a beast at one point. If you can get your hands on some of his fights you'll see. He man handled alot of fighters in his prime. De La Hoya was very intimidated by him in their fight.

Ike needs to shake off ring rust before fighting Mayorga. He should have at least a couple of fights against journeymen (like Mamadou Thiam or Bronco McKart) just to get his confidence up and dormant skills sharp again.

Ike at his peak would give 1-dimensional Mayorga a boxing lesson.

I thought Ike won the fight, but it wasn't a horrible decision either. I have never really cared for DLH much, but that was one hell of a final round in that fight. Makes me wonder what happened to him against Trinidad, where the fire went at the end.
