Man, I'm surprised how many seats are still left for such a great fight. What do you think it is, B-Hop's style?? I would've have paid good money to see this if it was on the west coast. I think he's gotten more fan friendly in his old age though we'll likely not see that on Saturday. He was saying race is the reason his story isn't getting more attention, but sadly the real reason is that the sport we love is just a niche sport these days that doesn't get much attention in general.

It is great match-up. b-hop doesn't have feet for this one any more. But still great effort for a legend. This one ends before 9 rnd. One way or another. Kovalev is the man now.

Dont start counting your chickens before they hatch.....i believe kova is way in over his head in this one.....its hopkins/pavlik all over again imo.

Fans that appreciate the art of boxing don't relate to the claim that his style is boring.
However, personally think Hopkins has been more entertaining as an elder than in his youth when he was highly technical and machine like in breaking his opponents down. You couldn't even see the punches and the next thing you knew they were on the canvas. Now he takes more risks, whirls bolo punches, and does push ups between rounds, and this all while still demonstrating the sweet science as 50 year old man.

are you nuts! he used to be fairly entertaining when he was younger and would exchange with fighters but hes become the light heavyweight john ruiz over the years. clinching excessively,,,playing foul when hurt and headbutting. the guy is sickening to watch these days. its not the art of boxing whatsoever dude

Hoppie lost his 2 biggest fights

Ron Jones beat Hop easily their 1st fight and jermain Taylor beat Hoppie twice. Calzaghe beat the Hop as did Chad Dawson who administered a humiliating beating on the Slow Bernard. Hop is way overrated and way to bitter and filled with hate to be liked.
