Why? Canelo can just tell Cotto to get stuffed and he will never get a fight on HBO again. Being with Roc Nation, Cotto will never be on a PBC show or any network that does business with Haymon. So without Canelo, Cotto may never fight again. Unless...... is there a Puerto Rican version of BET? Or maybe he can hope that Ward injures his knee and he can try for a SMW title!!! At a 161 catch weight of course.

By agreeing to this deal, Cotto has clearly put Canelo in the driver's seat and Canelo should take advantage of it.

you have a valid point, it seems like the only one attached to this fight is cotto, canelo can fight for 50-50 or more, or else go fight someone else like bradley if he beats k9 for the 154 lbs title...
