According to information issued by both MaravillaBox and Gallego Prada, former world champions Gabriel Campillo (24-6-1, 11KOs) and Kiko Martínez (31-5, 23KOs) will be back in the ring on December 12 in Barcelona, Spain.
It is being reported that Martínez will drop down in weight to bantamweight for an eight round contest. Campillo will also be involved in an eight rounder against an opponent to be named. The idea is to try to secure a fight next year with WBC champion, Adonis Stevenson, according to Sampson Lewkowicz who spoke to BoxingScene last Friday night.
