Hopkins is going to make Kovalev look bad, Kovalev is going to look like every other B hop opponent, they will try to land a power shot and get frustrated when he ties up and holds.
so he'll look like Dawson or Calzaghe? better yet, like a young Taylor?

I don't understand why some are putting B-Hop on this pedestal like he's an undefeated fighter. He's just the oldest to do it at this level, that's it. Bad-ass living legend for doing it but that's really the bottom line. Acting like he's the boss of bosses, Yoda's teacher, and the Evil Emperor combined is taking the truth into fictional territory. Kovalev is as far from fiction as you can get. The power is REAL. You don't knock fools down with jabs on this level, but this man does. There is no exaggerating what you can see on tape and the game plan to beat Hopkins is not a secret

After Hopkins gets dominated, we'll just pretend it's not a big deal kind of like when Dawson and Calzaghe both beat him fairly easily...

Hopkins taking those undetectable PEDs like Mayweather or what? No testing for this fight? A 49 year old facing top guys in the division causes no su****ion? I guess the whole "cleaning up the sport" thing was just an excuse to allow Mayweather to duck a dangerous opponent after all...

l think krusher wins by a brutal KO but we all know bhop is a master of the game so l won't be mad if bhop wins this by a boring UD.

Why bother to warn Hopkins about another boxer? Hopkins has no fear. I think Kovalev will win and possibly win by KO. Hopkins lost to Dawson and I think Kovalev is better than Dawson and a bigger puncher than Hopkins has ever fought.

What will you be doing at 50 years old? How relative will you be? Your dealing in speculation - can Kovalev adjust? Whats his stamina like? Shyt can he take a punch, wasnt he dropped in his last fight by a non puncher? At 50 I think we all can answer the questions posed because we deal in facts - Kovalev is good do not get me wrong, but when you get to a certain level you need more than power, gotta look at the kind of opposition he has been having his way with - this is why cats like Errol Spence jr. And Julian Williams are top prospects because they step up their level of comp so they do not develop false bravado...like Gary russell jr and lucien bute.. to be able to compete at the highest level, and hold a interview, witty and articulate - you have to be pretty dam good to bw boxing for almost 3 decades and have your faculties - its cool to go against the grain but have a stronger argument because even if bhop is on PEDS - at 50 he is still a yoda etc... no one in any other sport can come close and this has to be the most brutal of sports

The fight will be exciting, But..... He's going out LarryXXX, you'll be the one making excuses... You're thinking with your Heart and not your Head.... I'd like to see Pop's take em down with smarts and skills, but that's not going to happen.... He's fighting what we call "A wrong dude! "
