    NEW YORK – Sergey Kovalev was impressed by Bernard Hopkins’ win against Beibut Shumenov, but he wasn’t surprised Hopkins handled the former WBA light heavyweight champion with ease.

              No matter how this fight goes I will stand by the statement that Kovalev would brutally KO Shumenov... That guy is crap.

                      Shumenov is awful. The only reason he had the belt to begin with was because of a robbery, and he hadn't defended it in forever. The only people who think anything of him are fans who don't know anything about LHW and assume he must be good if Hopkins fought him.

                      He's worse than anyone Kovalev has wiped out in the past 2 years.

                              Kovaloss is not beating Hopkins in America. Hop is too skilled for the cement footed slow Kovaloss.

                                  I knew someone was going to refer to campillo, it was only a matter of time.... but ftr. I thought campillo won that fight but thats irrelevant.... and most fans on here didnt even know what the versus channel was back then and probably saw that fight on youtube a few days later anyways!
