  • Comments Thread For: Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Inks Contract With Al Haymon

It's been rumored for months, but now the deal is official. Those close to the negotiations have confirmed to BoxingScene.com that former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-1-1, 32KOs) signed a contract with influential adviser/manager Al Haymon.

Chavez has been inactive since March of this year, when he won a ten round unanimous decision over Bryan Vera in their rematch.

Yep. Looks like he'll be active in 2015.

Chavez will be fighting Arum mostly.

So he'll go from possible fights with Froch or GGG... to the Rod Salkas of the world?

Yay. Can't wait to see what Al has in store for this career underachiever.

He'll need to shake off the rust. Imagine if it was the Algieri's of the world on PPV?
