How can you think this means anything at all? Unless you have no idea what the purpose of sparring is, and that there's really no "winner" and "loser" when you're using a sparring partner preparing for a fight.

Joshua has fought tomato cans, and he's only 8 fights in, and he's alreayd being heralded as the next great HW champ?

Why did WIlder get shat on so much, when Joshua has done a lot less than Wilder? Not saying that Wilder didn't deserve it, but what exactly has Joshua done that Wilder hasn't?
Wilders last opponent would probably be the worst guy on Joshuas resume.

    That's probably why.

All these people praising Joshua, and anecdotal evidence of how good Joshua is, so I now know Joshua has great potential.
Whereas in the Olympics I thought Joshua was awful. I thought just a tough athletic kid taken of the council estate and trained up quickly with lottery money. I was aware he had taken up boxing quite recently, and that is how he looked to me when I saw him fight. I thought he was just basic looking but winning only because of being athletic and strong.

I thought he won gold cos of home advantage and I thought the Italian was a better fightin the final. But now I know I was being harsh and I got him wrong.

What's funny is the interviewer doesn't know the "Blue Horizon"!!!
Oh well what can you expect from a California interviewer.
Interesting interview at the local "gas station luncheonette"! HA!! I like it.
        Ray.

I wouldn't put too much stock in that report.

Wladimir is getting on and these rising prospects are pretty formidable now, that's true.

But Joshua is not experienced enough to deal with Wladimir.

If there is any element of truth to the matter, it must be remembered that sparring is sparring, Wladimir uses it to hone his skills, not to bash up his partners. Many great fighters like Manny Pac for example do not beat their opponents up in sparring much at all.

And you have to consider that if Joshua really dished up Wladimir in any significant way it would have leaked immediately and been hot news everywhere!

Having said that, I do feel Joshua is going to play a large role in the HW division.

But before we get too carried away, remember Michael Grant! He was supposed to be the next big thing too and was massive and athletic too.

            anthony joshua definitely KOs wilder.

but wlad even at this stage in his career KOs joshua out of the ring with one punch.

also joshua is probably on steroids.

Yeah, and Wlad is no stranger to getting brutally knocked out as well.

                Probably?

It is completely beyond question. It is impossible to look like that without steroids.

Yes of course Wlad would easily beat Joshua or Wilder. But KO in 1 punch, maybe not, unless they push Wlad to it early.

When WK fights taller guys like this, punch quality wins him the fight and accuracy.

                  What's your point there?

Joshua and Wilder have good punchers chances against Wladimir. I wouldn't ever deny that!

That's modern HW boxing, when you have got guys 6 and a half to 7 foot tall weighing 225-250lbs ripped to the shreds who can punch harder than most motor vehicles can impact a brick wall, things are ALWAYS gonna be dangerous no matter how good you are.

I would just say that the most likely scenario is that the much better skilled and experienced Wladimir, who is also massively strong and athletic, will prevail at this stage.

Is that why Wladimir looks like he does?

I am not a fan of Wilder, but why do people think he is easy to beat? He has bad technique but his power is crazy good.

I have seen Joshua live in his last fight and he is a beast but when he faces big guys who land on him, we will see. It's not how great you look VS over matched guys, it's how bad you don't look VS Top guys.
