I agree. It is also possible that in his culture it is normal and some 14 year old girls are quite mature and sexually active, not so with boys. In Latin cultures a girl turning 15 means she is not a woman now even though that is changing too because of American influence. My uncle was 30 and married a 13 year old, they have been married for 75 years and very happy, they had 10 kids and now have great grandsons. She is 80 and he is 97 now and still OK for his age.
