Everything in this case. Fortuna is more known and is a good opponent for Mikey Garcia, that should have been the main event its the only reason I watched not many people want to see fights under 126 so what's the point in putting a trash fight like that as a main event?

Fortuna-Cotto meant nothing to a crowd in Chicago. He was on the card because Samson brought Al Haymon into the mix, no other reason.

Fonfara was the only fighter on the show relevant to the Chicago boxing scene. That's why his bout was the main event. Kameda-Hernandez was a far more significant bout, and therefore rightfully the co-feature.

Fortuna is hardly in the running for a fight with Mikey Garcia. Signing with Al Haymon almost guarantees that you don't fight Top Rank fighters (which Mikey is until a judge says otherwise), unless it's a fight that goes to purse bid. We saw how that worked out for Quillin-Korobov. Plus, Garcia - whenever he returns - will be fighting at 135/140, as he already vacated his 130 lb. title and has no plans to fight again at that weight.
