    Froch, Groves & Degale

    Just had a lightbulb moment!
Maybe this has been mentioned before but if Froch vacates.
Degale vs Groves II for a world title.
With a possible Froch fight post Vegas.... Particularly if it's Degale.
Anyone else think this might be what Hearn is cooking up??

That would be good but since Groves has a mandatory slot locked in with the WBC i'd be surprised if he gives that up. That fight will always be there, If Degale picks up the IBF and Groves wins the WBC they could unify.

I was thinking maybe Degale vs Kessler for the vacant IBF but he hasn't done anything since the Froch loss.

It'll probably be Degale vs Ramirez.

I just think it makes most sense for Hearn so maybe that makes it most likely. Money talks as they say.
But likewise your idea also holds water

I thought DeGale would have to fight Gilberto Sanchez? Sanchez was talking about it for next year after Froch gets stripped. Groves-DeGale II would be a good unification fight though, but I might favor Sanchez over DeGale.

That's exactly what Hearn has said for a while in a few of his interviews with IFLTV on youtube

Your logic does hold court but i seriously think Sauerland will make George avoid Degale.I'm a fan of both but at this present time i seriously think Degale will maul Groves.Groves looked horrible in his last fight with Rebrasse.

I don't disagree but I really believe Groves thinks he beats him every time.
And that's not to be underestimated.
I'd like to see Degale achieve something though, he looks good when he sits down on his punches and is in serious mode.
