Jose Riviera, and John Scully, one of them kind of looks like Leon Spinks

Jose Rivera and myself are accurate.... one of the others is a two-time world champion and another is an olympic team captain.

hey, if i said that jose rivera was one of the weakest champs ever, how accurate would that be? i know hes from your area, but like the baldomirs of the world, try to reply as a commentator and not an ex-fighter.

I actually am training Jose now and he is one of the most dedicated, hardest working boxers I have even encountered. By weak how do umean, in what context? He won almost every round against the big punching Teddy Reid, he stopped former champ Frankie Randall, went to Germany and beat a 38-0 hometown guy and then lost his (regular) title on a very hard fought 12 rd. decision to Collazo. Jose is not an easy not for most guys

by weak, i meant decision making i suppose. i REALLY wanted for this guy to be a somebody, the expose that maxboxing.com did on him, how hes a great guy and works a 40hr job at a court house instantly had me hooked, this is more of a venting type of thing. he seems like a mans man, u know, no **** talking and just about business. he just took me back w/ turning down fights w/ zab and mayorga and he being the reason that we now have that ****y sob collazo.

from DC - we had a little pr click that was pulling for him - we like the humble types, and just seems that he fuqqed it up. tell him to stay away from g.leon and b-talk.net - they really ****ted on him.

i hope you do well w/ the guy. my mom loves him after the story maxboxing did on him.

Jose is a VERY decent, hard working type of guy. Still works 40 hours a week. Also he did NOT turn fight down with Mayorga... they were at the weigh in for a 147 pound fight and Ricardo came in at like 156! Also. with Zab, they offered that fight on VERY short notice
