Works out well for everyone. Kinda like Mayweather-Maidana. Selling a rematch on quite flimsy "controversy".

Smith gets another shot and another decent payday.

Abraham gets to rack up another pretty risk free title defence.

Winner should fight a Dirrell brother, Kessler, or whoever wins the eventual Groves-DeGale rematch.

...... But this is Abraham we're talking about. :durr1: He'll probably fight Stieglitz for a fourth time.

Risk free? I don't see it as risk free. It was a close fight. Abraham knows this and thus is in talks for a rematch. If Smith can replicate his original performance, at a venue outside Germany, he could get a decision victory. Smith gave Abraham a lot of problems and was ultimately busier throughout the first fight. I think he deserves a fair shake the second time around. Froch/Groves II was such a huge event in the UK and you could argue that there was less precedent for that to happen, in spite of the huge push from the boxing fans and press.
