Kovalev needs to stay calm and calculating like normal, if the occasion gets to his head and he tries to just red mist overpower bhop he will fall into his trap
He has enough boxing ability to have competitive moments and let his power take care of itself without tightening up and cramping himself which is why bhop plays the mind games imho

As much as I like Kovalev, I can't pick against Hopkins.
Dude has proven me wrong time after time.

You better be effing careful with your words because it appears to me that you're referring to Bhop as "nig" and I'm bloody not happy with that. There's no room in this forum for racist sh#t.

Oh, so now they drop the title 'grinding hard'?

Just when we get a photo-set where a fighter looks like he's been doing just that, with a thumb up his arse to boot!

          . . . . Please don't tell Sergey I said that.

I hope hopkins can pull it off, but as this fight gets closer and closer im leaning towards a draw and a potential rematch on ppv.

I think Kovalev will be chasing a running Hopkins all night. I think Kov will drop Hopkins a few times but Hop will run to survive and lose a clear unanimous decision...

BTW people who were saying Triple G was ducking Ward...

Remember that Ward clearly ducked Kovalev because when HBO wanted to discuss the possibility of the fight with Ward... Ward scoffed at it and said... "And then if I beat Kovalev, where do I go?"

Ward was afraid that he wouldn't be able to use that punch and clinch style on a bigger man who can ****...

And if Ward wants Triple G..he should move down to 160 like he's willing to do for a Floyd fight..

Now to get back to this topic.. I just can't see Hopkins at his age being able to keep movement going for 12 rounds and outlanding Kov like a young Hopkins might be able to do..
