I have high hopes for Felix. Kid seems to have it all, and it's very good they are keeping him so active.

Next year he will step up the level of competition gradually, let him mix it up with different styles, get some rounds.

No need to rush him at all.

Salido would ruin him like he did Juanma Lopez.

He needs to stop fighting cab drivers if he wants to get Salido down the road or he's gonna get murdered.

Kid seems good, needs to mix it up with people that will give him more rounds and experience.

            No need to rush.

Keep busy, keep selling tickets, and making a name for yourself.
            Eventually you'll get your shot.

I don't know why people are insisting in verdejo "stepping it up"...I think he's being brought along just fine,perfect...he has 15 fights and now is when he should be facing guys with more experience and then guys who have fought champions or ex champions, those fights there will give him some good experience and maybe get in some good rounds which is always good, the most important thing is he has time on his side,if I were him i'd wait until he has like 25 fights before he fights for a title, but before that hopefully he would have faced ex champions and top ten fighters and do that after his 20th fight, guys like salido down the road would be perfect,by then salido probably isn't a champ but he's older and has a lot of experience, those are the fighters that prepare you for a title, guys like that

Doubt that Felix is gifted as a boxer that can punch Lopez just had power plus he won't fight salido till 2016 most likely

He should quit name dropping. If there is no rush, he plans to fight Salido the old man. I don't want to see him in with Salido 2 years from now. Not even Salido can go on forever waiting for a shot at Verdejo.

it looks like you dont know spanish and for most of the people that dont know spanish he said that if he is still there(meaning salido) and is a force in the future then that fight can happen he would like it.

i dont see how that is name droping at all seeing as he was asked a question about fighting someone and what real fighter wouldnt want to fight a fighter like solido he has so much experiance...
