are u seriously compaing maidana to bradley in popularity? lets see, when maidana fought floyd, each and every other mexicans became argetinian for that night LOL!! when bradley fought pac, all the african americans turn their head the other way. this should answer ur question. and after the 2nd fight with pac, bradley did gain some respect and some more fans.

Mexicans are more diehard boxing fans on average.
Maidana has a more fan friendly style.
Bradley has never had a fanbase.

It increased a lot after the first fight but then he got his butt whooped by Provodnikov and lost the Pac rematch

He also has a very unmemorable style... Very good but it's just all over the place, no signature.

Also, his personality (homebody, family man, little league football coach, ect.) is not very intriguing or controversial. It doesn't help that the media and fans alike vilified him for getting a gift decision in the first. With that said, social media doesn't paint the entire picture and we don't know how much Tim's popularity has increased until his next fight and what kind of ratings he puts up.
One of the more intelligent and clear headed posts I've read in this thread. Good stuff!

I think the lack of a 'signature' is the key point. A lot of great fighters suffered because of that. It's not easy to categorise Bradley.
