He should fight a journey man, then try to challenge for a title late this year or in the beginning of next year. He lost to the widely regarded #1-2 guy in the division, no shame in that. No shame in that, hit the drawing board and come back better.

I like Lacey and hope this doesn't have the same effect on him as Tito's whooping did on Vargas. Both guys took on more than they could handle w/ Joe and Tito, early in their careers and took a beating as a result (more so in the case of Vargas, but Laceys was helpless in his fight).

I may not be very popular for saying this, but i think some of you guys are hypocrites. If Lacy had of been an up and coming British/euro fighter and Calzaghe was American, i think a lot of people would be saying he was exposed, he's euro garbage, and generally not being as compassionate etc, i'm not saying all of you, but some.

I think Joe exposed Lacy so much that you'll get knew opponents trying to follow his blueprint. I honestly don't think Lacy will be the same after that tanning he recieved

                  He should comeback.

Most of the time when a person lost his last match he comesback more determine.

He had the pressure of being undeafted. But now I think he is going to have a new Jeff Lacy that will dominate the Super Middle Wieght like Hopkins dominated the middle wieght after his loss to Jones

I hope so and what you say here makes alot of sense.I think he can do it he seems so strong minded and focused with the exception of this fight and was very humble and proffesional in defeat.Lacy will be back and better than ever.

What's funny is you guys saying "it's ok he only lost one fight he'll be back" but when tito lost to bhop everyone started saying how Tito was done and that he was exposed. Well that criticism goes for Lacy as well. He was exposed. The problem that he had was that he noticed this guy was not afraid of him, and he was in for a fight. Then he realized, this guy aint backing down, **** what do I do. oh Well I can always make excuses like " I lost my Spark" what a crook of ****.
