You can't say Floyd would do this or that, simply because Duran fought in a level of competition miles completely above Floyds, it's laughable to say because he did this to guys like Corrales/Boldamir/Hatton/Mosley he would be succesfull. Might as well say Garry Russel Jr would beat ATG's from the way he was destroying TBA's. Talent is there, but we dont know how good the fighter actually is until he fights another great fighter.
Esteban De Jesus beat Duran and Floyds a lot better than him .

Doesn't change the fact that he was going through life problems at the time, and he was still struggling to make weight.

That sounds like an excuse. Everybody is going through some **** all the time. Heck Mayweather could probably say that before and after each fight. Bottom line is he lost and was obliterated.

I don't have much doubt that the best Mayweather would be a strong contender in all weight classes below 147 in any era.

But he doesn't stay undefeated against everyone in history. No chance.

You do kiss their butts. You always act like Im crazy anytime I have them losing to Floyd. Despite him only being hit a hand full of times his whole career, and being ten times better.

Herns is tall and has a jab but no skills.

He had a right hand that would put cruiserweights to sleep and a left hook to the body that would fold you. There's no way a floyd would be able to avoid the right hand all night. Yes it's easy for floyd to dance around tall flat footed fighters in corrales. But hearns danced around the ring very well also floyd would have to rely on his skills to win cause he doesn't have the power to ko hearns. Also you forget sugar Ray Leonard was a tall welterweight too at 5'10 and had much more power than floyd. Benitez was a defensive wizard also at 5ft10 and hearns outboxed him. Not saying floyd would just get steamrolled but I just don't see him winning. Floyd never fought a 6ft2 guy who could move corrales was 5'10.
Yea but SRL is not half the fighter Floyd is and SRL actually BEAT Herns thats the point. Floyd dont have to dance around anyone. He stands in front of a guy of that caliber and dart in and out. Overwhelming him from all angles. The reaction time difference between Herns and Floyd is night and day.

But Herns is going to land a jab and KO Floyd before Floyd figures him out? Well he has 2 rounds to pull it off.

And Floyd aint no damn Benitez or SRL. SRL has a plus minus of 15 while Floyd's is 30. I think whatever the size difference is, is greatly compensated by Floyd's skills.

Herns can dance but he never lands any of those punches while dancing. If you notice, when Floyd runs around the ring none of those jabs lands on the outside. Floyd is not a dance/boxer. He's a full blown tactician.

SRL lost to Duran because Duran got into his head and he cant even speak english. He couldnt even land a jab on Duran.

Everyone Floyd fights is bigger and stronger. But I feel Floyd beats them off of dedication alone. On mental prowess alone(meaning we eliminate dedication)

                      On skills alone.
