    Alvarado.

Pac is a A class fighter, even coming off a loss, a fighter like Alvarado is easy fight, but it would have been a legit easy work fight.

Rios had no chance, dude was just a smaller, SLOWER, dumber Margarito, on Pac's worst day he couldn't beat Pacquiao.

Pac could have fought Rios the same night he got Ko'd by Marquez, and he would have been Rios easily.

And YES...before you say Alvarado was hurt, I don't buy it, they could have fought later.

Rios was easy money, just a fight, nothing more.

Rios and Alvarado are in the same class of fighters. They are the same calibre. ...As shown by their fights since Rios-Alvarado 2. Pac demolishes both .. So why bring this up? #pointless.

and yes, Alvarado was injured. Had surgery. And they didn't want to risk Alvarado backing out close to the fight. ...Which made sense.

This was a big money fight...1st time bringing pac to macau.

The fight makes sense on one level. The build-up would be great and it would sell well, regardless of Broner being a significant underdog. The fact that he would be such an underdog makes it even better from his perspective, as he's not really going to look that bad for losing.

Broner's not going to be an elite, PPV headlining kind of guy. He's not quite good enough. So why not put him in with Pacquiao for a big payday? It's going to generate a lot of money, and who isn't going to enjoy seeing Broner get his ass kicked?
