No way. Murray in no way ever proved he was better than Macklin or especially Geale.

I see this a lot, and don't understand what it's based on.

Martinez had a legitimately destroyed knee in that fight. One he required surgery for. There wasn't much difference between Sergio in that fight and the guy Cotto destroyed. Macklin was competitive with a close to prime Sergio.

And Murray probably did worse than Macklin against Sturm, let alone Geale who actually beat Sturm. It's this huge myth that Murray was robbed in that fight. Other than those two fights, Murray looks plain bad against nobodies.

I'm gonna watch alittle of the Murray vs strum fight before he fights 3G to see really what he has. Ill admit I haven't seen that much on him. I based a lot off the Martinez fight.

I would put some money that the fight would end, in between the round 7 round through 9 round.

I suspect it goes longer than the usual 3-4 rounds.

Murray is not on GGGs level at all, but he's probably the best guy GGG would have fought.

              I say 7 rnd KO.

Could be wrong, GGG is having great momentum at this particular time.

Wouldn't be surprised to see murray make it past the 5th. He's a very durable guy. But's its godlovking. punch is all it takes.

about as long as Stevens. He has that high guard that will probably let him survive some rounds until he gets pounded enough

martinez lost to murray who lost to khomitsky who lost to blackwell. all hail nick blackwell as the linear champ. its puzzling how ggg hasn't even mentioned blackwell's name. you think he will fight anyone and yet he hasn't gone near lil nickie.
