Misread, my bad. Cotto just had a much better game plan for the second fight. If he would of fought with the same mistakes, it would of been a repeat of the first fight. Just didn't agree with the early stoppage. Specially since spending money in going to see it live.

I disagree with your first sentence, Cotto was in control all the way through. He even started pushing Margarito against the ropes at the later stages.

HOWEVER, I would have loved to see that fight go until the 12th round.

It would have also been interesting to see ROACH version of Cotto against Margarito.

Nope because he got dominated the first half of the first fight, and got dominated in the second fight... margarito was simply an ordinary fighter and shane proved that!

this is one of the dumbest myths floating around here...cotto won the last round (and all the others). margarito showed NOTHING in the entire fight that should lead anyone to believe he was making a comeback.

Round 9 was very much a Cotto round.

He stood with Margarito and cracked him with some terrific power shots. Margs got his ass beat all fight.

this is what i dont get. garcia and margarito said that was their best round. but cotto stood in front of margarito, pushed him back and cracked him with bombs. still i would have loved for the fight to continue and give fans a proper conclusion
